Position: Sales, Training, and Operations Manager
Job Description:
Act as the primary sales contact for dealers and direct clients using knowledge of gyrocopters, including their characteristics, differential from helicopters, and strengths and weaknesses and using knowledge of the AG-915 line of gyrocopters.
Prepare sales, marketing, and training videos of gyrocopters, in actual flight and on the ground, and post regularly to social media.
Fly and demonstrate capabilities of the product by piloting gyrocopters in varied terrain, including using instruments for landings, performing engine-out landings, and navigating cross-country routes.
Train future and existing pilots to safely fly gyrocopters utilizing the ability to fly and demonstrate all the capabilities of AG-915 gyrocopters.
Prepare existing and future pilots to pass FAA ground and flight exams for gyroplanes.
Prepare training materials and establish flight training exercises that are fun, educational, and adhere to the FAA requirements.
Train Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) on special flight characteristics for AG-915 gyrocopters and other models, both for safety reasons, and for differentiating our product offerings.
Act as the operations manager.
Coordinate ordering, shipping and delivery, and customs clearance for importing AG-915 aircraft kits from the factory in Poland to the U.S.
Provide “builder assistance” in assembling aircraft kits into airworthy aircraft, utilizing knowledge of assembling aircraft kits into airworthy aircraft, while meeting specific requirements of the FAA for experimental aircraft builder assistance.
Provide trouble shooting and resolve maintenance issues by ordering replacement parts, using experience in maintaining AG-915 gyrocopter, including rotor balancing, propeller pitch setting, Rotax engine maintenance, and trouble-shooting.
Degree Required: High School or equivalent.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience as a gyrocopter pilot.
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- FAA Fixed Wing Certification.
- FAA gyroplane pilot’s license.
- FAA Certification as a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) in gyroplanes, with a sign-off for competency in side-by-side gyrocopters.
- Must possess Certification of training in operations for AG-915 gyrocopter models.
Special Requirements:
- Experience piloting gyrocopters in varied terrain, including using instruments for landings, performing engine-out landings, and navigating cross-country routes.
- Knowledge of gyrocopters, including their flight characteristics, differential from helicopters, and strengths and weaknesses.
- Prior experience in preparing sales, marketing, and training videos of gyrocopters, in actual flight and on the ground, and posting to social media.
- Ability to fly and demonstrate all the capabilities of AG-915 gyrocopters.
- Prior experience in training existing and prospective pilots to safely fly gyrocopters.
- Prior experience and demonstrable ability in preparing future pilots to pass FAA ground and flight exams for gyrocopters.
- Prior experience and demonstrable ability to train CFI’s of our dealers in the special flight characteristics for AG-915 gyrocopters and other models.
- Demonstrable knowledge of assembling aircraft kits into airworthy aircraft, while meeting FAA for experimental aircraft builder assistance.
- Prior experience in maintaining AG-915 gyrocopter, including rotor balancing, propeller pitch setting, Rotax engine maintenance, and trouble-shooting.
Travel Required: Domestic travel up to 7 days per trip for up 2 trips per month. International travel up to 7 days per trip for up to 1 trip per month.
