Rex, there are some 2 seaters below that weight, but not too many. If you look around you could probably find one without too much effort. I would recommend starting a discussion on the Rotary Forum. Hi reckon ud say im little new w/gyro’s..r most or some 2 seat gyro’s,@or below 1230lbs on lsa wt? im 5′3″,62 yrs old,like to fly one some day,I flew X country yrs ago ina c 172,c 182,piper colt,howard 15 dga..yrs ago had a ball…love to get 2 seat gyro some day if their under 1230 lbs…Rex

Chuck,

We have not achieved certification of the Sportcopter II yet. We have had some hold-ups on the manufacturing side of the project and are trying to resolve those currently. So as of now we do not have an anticipated completion date. I wish I could tell you differently. It will first come out as an experimental as it is still a little too heavy for LSA. But I know that they are trying to everything they can to get it to the weight they need to achieve LSA.

We’ll post any updates right when we get them.

Ya, we are still working on it, but it is moving really slow for now. I don’t know, but I think it may be a little while yet before we actually get one here. uggg. We would love to have you come fly the SparrowHawk though. We look forward to seeing you again.

Jake,

I talked with Nate two weeks ago and he said you are still working on the “light sport” gyro model. I’m still very interested in finishing my “light sport” certification/license whenever the bird is up and running–and I probably should come by for a few refresher hours in the old gyro since I’ve been stagnating for over a year. Wow!

Keep thinking about me when you get some updates on the new gyro.
